About Caspar Schlickum
My role at WPP has allowed me to make one of my passions into a career. Digital is changing everything about how we live our lives. How we communicate, engage, learn, do business, entertain ourselves, inform ourselves, motivate ourselves and solve complex (and very simple) problems.
Caspar Schlickum is Managing Director of the European and UK operations of WPP’s Media Innovation Group (MIG). The MIG uses data and technology to help the WPP media agencies more efficiently acquire and optimize digital media, delivering lower prices, dramatically improved campaign performance and actionable insights for their clients. Prior to joining the MIG Caspar was a partner at Mindshare, where he managed the global HSBC media account, and also worked within Kantar, WPP’s research and consumer insights business. Caspar holds an MBA from London Business School
About Matt Gierhart
As Head of Social for OgilvyAction, the global brand activation network of The Ogilvy Group, Matt works to understand the social shopper and how they make decisions. Matt explores how social media fits within customer activation (advertising, social expressions, out of home, experiential and product reviews).
OgilvyAction’s legacy, talent team and access to a roster of international brands gives Matt the ability to position social media as a way to understand customer behaviour for product and communication development. Matt believes this customer-lead understanding of brands and products results in smarter socially-driven marketing campaigns structured for activation.
